I have been working part time for the last 1.5 years to start a successful home base online business. I have had some success and also have learned a lot. I’d like to share a couple points with you today. As I really would like to help you get started off on the right foot.

Okay, you've decided you're going to do it too. You're ready to take the plunge. You're going to start your own business and make your living online 2007.

Then what’s next? The first thing that comes up are all the "What if's!" Where do you start? What if it doesn't work? There's so much to do, so much to learn. Why is it that all the negatives always start popping to the surface? The reason!...A decision without immediate Action! When a decision is made... START!... Do something. Take a step. Get into Action. You'll see all those "What If's", negatives, and fears fade away. Many are looking to start their internet business for free. They want the business to be automatic so it takes very little of their time.

I would recommend that you pay absolutely no attention to the “get rich quick” businesses. There is no free lunch! It takes some focused work to get your home based business going. It does not take nearly as much as a more conventional job but it still takes work. Please don’t let anyone tell you different or you will not succeed. THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH!

There are many solid business opportunities out there depending on what you would like to do. You should not need to invest more than about $500 or so to get started. A BBB (Better Business Bureau) certification is what I look for and there are many businesses that have this. Whether it be affiliate programs or product online stores. You choose.

Finally… Consistent Follow-Through and Commitment Is Needed
Whatever network marketing company you join, remember that your success will be measured in large part by how much time you spend following up with prospects, and how well you do it. I've seen many people come into my business, set up their free web site, and then sit back and wait for something to happen. It won't - you have to take whatever tools you've been provided, and make something happen.
